Monday at 06 UTC... a low pressure centre across northern Italy moves slowly southward. Near its centre and on its southern flanks moist-adiabatic to slightly unstable lapse rates will likely allow for the formation of widespread -locally thundery- convective storms. 15-20 m/s winds forecast at 850 hPa may allow some stronger gusts to form with convective systems, especially in the areas labelled 'SEE TEXT'.
